A rare and unique individual, Carol's natural healing presence along with her therapeutic sensitivity and remarkable wisdom inspire ideals of love, compassion and faith from deep within us.  Her presence attracts and honors individuals seeking personal transformation, higher awareness and healing.  She is a dynamic teacher and mentor known for creating safe and sacred spaces for the process of healing and growth.

Carol is an acknowledged speaker and educator, and has presented programs, trainings and workshops for the public in the US, France Italy, Spain, Venezuela and Israel.  She maintains a prominent role in the professional community as a facilitator of personal transformation techniques.  Her dynamic personality combined with humor and deep respect for the work of the participants has allowed her to establish a strong foundation of support among her peers and colleagues. 

Carol's life experience with childhood trauma and her early medical background working with catastrophically ill children sparked her interest in the mind body connection, the emotional process, and its overall relationship to health and wholeness.  Carol focused her training on the interconnection and unification of the body.  Carol developed Integral Breath Therapy ™ Integration Process Therapy Trainings for health care professionals.  Using workshops for the public, individual and group work, she specializes in personal growth and development, stress management, somatic / health issues and self empowerment.

 Licensed Health Care Professionals - Our Staff

Each is a Master's Level Breath Therapy graduate, continue to attend Leadership and teach Integral Breath Therapy Training; the foundation component for The Integration Process.

Gail Rogers MA, LPC, is a psychotherapist in private practice in Lexington, NC.

Gail's work with individuals, couples, and groups is from the mind/body/spirit perspective, using breathwork, energy release, hypno-behavioral therapy, and the psychology of C. G. Jung.


Ray Wooten, Ph.D., is a professor at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX - Department of Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy since 2000 and has been teaching classes at both the master's and doctorate levels.  He is a Psychotherapist, Consultant and is a registered somatic movement therapist (RSMT) teaching yoga, mindfulness, movement/dance and body focused strategies as part of the somatic counseling concentration.

Wen-Mei Chou, Ph.D., LPC-S, LMFT-S is a trained hypnotherapist and a certified integral Breath Therapy trainer.  In addition, she is an associate professor at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor (UMHB).  Mei was raised and completed her degree in Taiwan and graduate training in the United States.  Her unique cultural background and education has enriched her teaching and clinical practice. 
Renee Turner, Ph.D., LPC-S, RPT-S is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, Registered Play Therapy Supervisor, and a certified Integral Breath Therapy trainer.  Renee also has advanced training in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Hypnotherapy, and other mind-body practices and expressive modalities.  She is currently an assistant professor at UMHB and the proud mom of one.


Ted Riskin, LCSW is a psychotherapist specializing in relationship issues and cognitive therapy.  Along with certifications in Core Energetics, hypnotherapy and EMDR, he is certified in Holotropic Breathwork by Stanislav Grof, MD.  He served for five years as President of the Association for Holotropic Breathwork International and eight years as the music editor for The Inner Door.  Ted is currently a faculty member of The Institute of Core Energetics.  He has practiced meditation for 31 years.


Jane Martin, MA has been in private practice for seven years.  She works through Volition Wellness Solutions in Princeton, NJ.  Her MA In Psychology is from Goddard College specializing in Child Psychology and Transpersonal Psychology.  She has also completed trainings in Imago Couples Therapy as well as Social Inclusion.  She has practiced meditation for 35 years.


Support: All trainings are supported by graduates of Integral Breath Therapy ™ Training.  These qualified individuals are Licensed Health Care Professionals  who specialize both in the training and development of holistic therapists and teachers.
